A Smile Makeover is something that, more than any other cosmetic procedure, restores and enhances people’s appearance with remarkable effects on their confidence. Here at Boulevard Dental Practice, we feel strongly that everyone should have the opportunity and information to do this, should they wish to do so. If you are unhappy with your smile, Dr Costello has a keen interest and wealth of experience in this field of cosmetic dentistry, often achieving amazing results.
Using a combination of cosmetic dental procedures such as porcelain crowns, veneers, white composite restorations and tooth whitening, we can transform discoloured or crooked teeth to give you a smile you can be proud of. Gaps and missing teeth are not a problem as they can be restored with bridges and if necessary dental implants. Orthodontic procedures such as the six-month smile can also be considered for slightly more complex crooked or misaligned teeth.
If you think you may be interested in a smile makeover and would like more information or would like to book an appointment for a consultation, please contact the surgery or ask any member of the dental team who will be happy to advise you.
Brilliant white teeth - we'll show you how beautiful brilliant white teeth give you an appealing smile and a healthy and refined appearance. They reflect self-confidence and stand for success, youth and vitality. Thanks to progress in modern dentistry, we offer the opportunity for whitening your teeth simply and gently at home, using custom made trays and whitening gels. The process takes around three weeks and is usually very successful.
Discolouration can be caused by ageing, disease, medication, root fillings, bleeding after accidents or retreating nerves. The surface of teeth can be additionally stained by beverages such as coffee, tea, red wine or tobacco consumption. Your dentist will diagnose the reasons for the stains on your teeth before whitening.
The whitening process is most successful on slightly discoloured teeth. Strongly discoloured teeth may take a longer treatment.
The whitening effect generally is stable for several years. Should teeth slightly darken again because of food, beverages or nicotine, the treatment can be repeated every 6 to 12 months.
